My Wild Side

Hello everybody. Do you remember reading the post where I wrote about me listening to my mellow music while fishing at the lake? Well, the music was so relaxing that it literally put me to sleep. In order to combat my sleepiness as I drove home, I had to listen to rock and roll, at full blast. I’m going to share my playlist with you. I only hope that it will come through to my blog.

I believe that there’s a wild side in all of us. You can tell by listening to this playlist that I definitely have a wild streak in me. My wildness doesn’t end there, though. Oh, no. I have to be humming, singing along if I know the words, or bobbing my head back and forth like a maniac. Have you ever seen people doing that in their car? If you don’t hear their music when they’re acting that way, they look pretty silly, right? Well, that’s how I’d look if you could see me—pretty silly.

I usually have a real difficult time waking up after I get out of bed. So, I often listen to the same rowdy music while I’m getting ready for work. I’ll be swaying side to side or dancing in place as I brush my teeth or curl my hair.

Okay, I’ll wrap this up so that you can enjoy listening to this music as you go about your weekend activities.

Hi June,
So good to see you here again. I don't know if you know that I've been visiting and been reading your novel. I'm just slow catching up. In time, I will. I have several other on-line novels and at least 3 printed books that i'm reading at the moment that I only read a little bit from each one. I finally finished reading one of the printed books. I still have
16 other printed books to read before Christmas. Hee, hee.

I'm glad you like my playlist.

Have a great day,
Tasha

Hi Vikki,
Be sure to come back to let me know if you like it or not, okay? LOL.

I'll be coming over to check out Dante's Pub to see what everybody's talking about these days. Perhaps, I should put "The Artist Challenge" logo on my blog.

For now, I'm going to bed and get more sleep.

G'night,
Tasha

I just can't see you as a wild child. You have a good selection of tunes here though. First the mellow, and now a little wild, LOL. Hey thanks for all the support, it has really helped.

Hi Eric,
Hubby and kids could attest to my wild side. They just shake their heads and smile at my wild antics. I think I embarass them.

You're very welcome, Eric. Quitting to smoke is a hard thing to do, so for you and your wife doing it is very admirable. I really am rooting for both of you. I hope she is getting enough support for herself. Just hang in there and by the time you know it, you're smoke free.

Have a great day,
Tasha

You are hysterical!! I love both sides and what a contrast you are. I am listening now. Go Billy Idol!

Great music, I can't see "horse with no name" and "wild world"..he he he...I listened to them and they made me more jovial. God bless.

Hee, hee. Yep, I'm such a contrast, Heidi. I love all kinds of music. I even like some Rap music that have decent lyrics to them. But I'm mostly for the more mellow kind of music. I love that Billy Idol song. I didn't realize that it's a Punk rock music. LOL.

I'm glad you like this playlist.

Hi Jena,
Those two will be included in my Mellow rock playlist later. I can't wait to build in on-line. I'm just very disappointed that the playlist doesn't work on my blog anymore. I'm not sure if Blogger doesn't allow having it on blogs or what.

Talk to you later,
Tasha

Hello Tasha,
Go girl! he he he! Rock music can really wake anyone up! Specially if you turn it up! LOL
I do that all the time when I drive, it helps keep the consciousness awake! Although I haven't really researched about it, sounds like an interesting topic.
Later!

Hi Z,
So, you can relate to what i'm saying here. It has to be the loud, fast beat that keeps pounding in our head why we stay awake. Whatever the reasons are, those rock and roll music keep me awake.

Let us know what you'll find out with your research.

Hi Tasha, now I love Meat Loaf there is nothing like him for some loud times. Of course you have a wild side I didnt doubt that for a moment!

Hi Lilly,
I agree with you on Meatloaf. The first time I've heard of Meatloaf was in 1982 when I saw him in the "The Horror Picture Show" movie.

Do you know that that is always my fear To fall asleep if I drive and I wont wake up anymore? I am a sleeper.. I mean, I can literally sleep in a matter of 2 minutes if I want to... tired or what, if I want to, i just fall and if I am asleep, whether I like it or not, I fall asleep. In university the profs just dont mind me if I just sleep in my chair like drunk.

tashabud said...

Hi WebbieLady,
That would be very scary. You just have to make sure not to drive long distance. And if you do, to have somebody do the driving.

It's funny, though, about you sleeping in class like a drunk. I bet you did a lot of reading on your own since you had slept through the lectures? Hee, hee.

Thanks for visiting,
Tasha

Hey tashabud - I usually play the air drums to music I use to play the air guitar but I'm better at the drums. I still have to play the guitar on Sweet Home Alabama.

Hi David,
I hope that when you're doing the air guitar, singing Sweet Home Alabama that you're not driving? I love that song by the way.

Thanks for visiting.
